Adidas leads the change to get young people moving in the great outdoors

Multinational corporation Adidas is taking a leading role in a movement to encourage young people to get outside, get active, and make use of the green spaces in their own city through a campaign called “ Get Active In Green Spaces”. By organising a range of events, initiatives, and partnerships, the company is working to inspire and empower young people to embrace the outdoors and live a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.

“We believe that green spaces are essential for the physical and mental health of young people, and we want to do our part to encourage them to get outside and be active,” said John Smith, VP of Marketing at Adidas. “That’s why we’ve launched this initiative, which includes a variety of events and activities designed to get young people moving and exploring the great outdoors.” Some of the events and initiatives that Adidas has organised as part of the campaign include guided hikes, outdoor fitness classes, and organised sports games. The company is also partnering with local parks departments and recreation centers to provide even more opportunities for young people to enjoy the outdoors.
The initiative has received a positive response from young people who have participated in the events and activities. “I have always loved being outside, but this initiative has really inspired me to get out and explore the green spaces in my city more,” said 18-year-old Zeynep Ozcan. “I have had so much fun participating in the activities that Adidas has organised. I met lots of other people around my age and they all said that it is their first time in Holland Park in spite of the fact that we all live in London. Even though this is kind of upsetting I am determined to come here more often and I am planning on exploring all the other green spaces around the city all thanks to Adidas. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.”
In addition to the events and initiatives, Adidas is also using its social media channels and website to share stories and tips about outdoor adventure and the benefits of spending time in nature. The company is working with influencers and brand ambassadors who are passionate about outdoor activity and the environment to help promote the campaign and inspire others to get outside.
“We want to be at the forefront of a movement to encourage young people to be more active and make use of the green spaces in their own city,” said Smith. “We are committed to providing the resources and opportunities that young people need to get outside, get active, and connect with nature, and we believe that this campaign is just the beginning of our efforts in this area.”
Adidas plans to continue and expand the initiative in the future, with the goal of inspiring and empowering as many young people as possible to get active and make use of the green spaces in their own city. The company is confident that by providing these resources and opportunities, it can help to create a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
