What we do…
Unplug to Reconnect is a campaign in partnership with Mind UK, encouraging university students to take a break from screens, get outdoors, and reconnect with others to support their mental well-being. With rising stress and digital overload, we are creating opportunities for students to engage in outdoor activities, mindfulness sessions, and social events to laugh, connect and be fully present with ourselves and each other.
Growing up in a very diverse area of London, our tight-knit community knew how to bond and stay connected.
Weekly barbecues and picnics were the norm for us and was how our friendships started. It became a very relaxed setting for us and we knew where to go when we were feeling anxious.
Through this concept, we aimed to create a similar experience for University students. We saw how many students were stuck indoors staying on their phones and decided to make a change. Every week our team hosts events all over the City of London consisting of different activities, food and entertainment.
Students today are more anxious and glued to screens than ever. ‘Unplug to Reconnect,’ supported by Mind UK, helps young people break free from phone addiction through guidance and real-world social events. It’s time to reconnect and take back control…

Let’s break this cycle together
“Teens spend an average of 7 hours and 22 minutes on their phones daily, leading to increased anxiety, depression, and sleep deprivation” – according to Common Sense Media
