Get out from the comfort zone
At first I didn’t know what kind of event it was, I mean, what else can you do with your shoes? You just wear them! With curiosity, I agreed to participate in the event and realised how different it was.
Staying indoors for long periods of time might be easy, but staying outside? not going to be easy. You will get bored easily. But after the first day, I realised it wasn’t that bad and it was fun to be outside.
Day1
On the first day, I chose Greenwich Park, the weather was beautiful, and my friend and I climbed up the hill and sat on the grass watching the sunset, you could also notice it was literally a dog heaven, the dogs were running free on the grass and my soul was swinging with the wind.
It had been a while since I had experienced something like that and I felt so grateful.
DAY 2
I attempted a ‘city walk’ in London, I live in East London so rarely browse around the London Eye. I started my day at Trafalgar Square and went to St James’s Park, where I fed the birds with apples, which was fun. I also viewed Big Ben and finally walked to Waterloo bridge where I went to the BFI to watch a film alone. I didn’t realise I had actually walked such a long way. I have a tight sleep that night.
Day3
On the third day, I decided to go on an adventure and I went to a town I had never heard of, EYNSFORD, where there are huge meadows and lavender fields, and you can visit and taste the freshest craft-brewed beer. People are so warm and friendly that made me didn’t want to leave.
All in all, it was great and fun, it took you to jump out of your routine and you can find you were walking a lot without realising it like you will not get tired at all! I think it was down to the shoes too. I’ve documented it all and I think I’ll miss these moments. I actually plan to go out more often.
