PARKS IN LONDON

Walking out in fresh air is my favourite thing to do for my physical and mental health; here at Kari Traa we follow scientist and psychologist advice to get out in the fresh air. To make it easier for you, here is a list of the best parks in London.

Richmond Park

This is the largest of London’s royal parks. Located in West London, the park is filled with open fields as well as lots of big forest. If you’re lucky you might even see a deer running around!

Victoria Park

Don’t be fooled by its name because this park is located in Bethnal Green, which is very close to Shoreditch. The park has a beautiful lake with a stunning water fountain. Victoria Park is one of the UCL Treesoc’s favourite parks to meet for their weekly Sunday climb, which only means one thing… amazing trees!

Wimbledon Park

Wimbledon Park lakefront park offers open grassy fields, tennis, mini golf and a fun play area for children. Located in Wimbledon, the park is huge and in a popular and busy suburban neighbourhood. For me, the best part is the swing in the playground; there is nothing better than swinging a little on the swing and feeling like a little child again with the wind blowing in your hair.

Holland Park

Holland Park is one of my favourites. Located in beautiful Kensington, the park is filled with families and dog owners. On Sunday morning, you can see dads running after toddlers with the biggest smile on their face, there is something about happy children that is contagious. After you’re done walking in the park, you can stroll around the neighbourhood and see beautiful houses whilst manifesting the life you want by walking around your future neighbourhood.

Greenwich Park

Greenwich Park is beautiful, with one of the best views in London (undebatable). The park is filled with steep hills, and you know what that means…. booty building. Located in South London, the park is filled with independent coffee shops and people. At the bottom of the park, you have Greenwich uni which is famous for its amazing architecture, you feel like you jumped right into Bridgerton.

Regents Park

Regents Park has beautiful rose gardens, wildlife and is one of London’s eight Royal Parks. Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens in Regents has the most beautiful floral display that I have ever seen, just like walking around the garden in Alice in Wonderland. The park fills up with students, sunbathers and frisbee players in the Summer, bringing the whole of London to life.
