adicamp – providing young people with the chance to learn, grow and build meaningful relationships.
in 2025 adidas will launch their brand new concept, adicamp, are a series of free one-day festivals, held in local parks with the help of the London Assembly and the Greater London Authority, which will encourage teenagers and young adults to be sociable and active regularly.
In the UK, loneliness is a growing epidemic, with young people aged 16 to 24 feeling more lonely than any other age group. In fact, 73% of Gen-Z feel alone sometimes or always. Loneliness can be as damaging to health as smoking 15 cigarettes per day, and people who experience social isolation have a 32% higher risk of early death.
adicamp will give young people of all backgrounds the opportunity to socialise with like-minded peers and expand their knowledge under the mentorship of industry innovators from the world’s of music, sports and the arts.
Alongside the group mentoring and social get-togethers, Adidas will supply state-of-the-art sports training equipment and coaches, who alongside the camp’s cookout, will promote balanced healthy lifestyles of exercise, nutrition and sociability.
adicamp’s camp counsellors and mentors will be fronted by London-born rapper and visual artist Manga Saint Hilare, whose album ‘Outsiders Live Forever’ promotes the importance of community, togetherness and spending time outside. adicamp takes its brand motto from another of his projects:
‘We Need To Look After Us’.
