Scientific research states that black and Asian people are dying at higher rates<\/a> from Covid-19 than Caucasian people. Factors that contribute to this disparate statistic involve underlying health, living situations, work and and income. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key role making a difference between the ethnic groups was environmental health and proximity to nature. People of colour are more likely to live in areas with a ‘deficiency of access’ to green spaces defined by the London Plan<\/a>. This describes in terms of how far households need to travel to access a space. It is evident that minority ethnic people are disproportionately affected by environmental conditions which evoke stress and harm our health.
