At Patagonia, our ethos has always been rooted in protecting the natural world. In 2022, we made it official. The Chouinard family, Patagonia\u2019s founders, transferred 100% of the company\u2019s voting stock<\/strong> to the Patagonia Purpose Trust<\/strong>, and 100% of the nonvoting stock<\/strong> to the Holdfast Collective<\/strong> – a nonprofit dedicated to fighting the environmental crisis and defending nature. This made Patagonia become the first company to turn itself over \u201cto Earth\u201d.

Furthermore, Patagonia has donated more than $140 million<\/strong> to grassroots environmental organisations. Every dollar that isn\u2019t reinvested back into the business goes toward supporting these organisations, climate justice campaigns, and nature preservation efforts worldwide. We will continue to give 1% of sales every year through the “1% for the Planet” initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We chose this motto for our event because it’s true. We as the team at Patagonia recognise better than anyone the struggles caused by urbianisation and the Covid-19 Pandemic. As a company based in outdoors exploration, we feel responsible to uplift the younger generation and help them ease back into nature. This event isn\u2019t just about showcasing gear – it\u2019s about building something bigger. Patagonia Village was created as a space where community, sustainability, and innovation come together.

Through immersive tech experiences, workshops, community initiatives, our Reach Your Peak<\/strong> campaign invites people to become the best versions of themselves by connecting with nature, each other, and new ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
