What else can your screen bring to you ?
DJI is running the campaign “See the Different Screens” in London especially for Gen – Z. DJI will be hosting a number of outdoor shoots in and around London from Spring 2025.
DJI’s unique understanding of screens
Since Covid, Gen Z has seen a 76 per cent increase in screen time. This has fuelled what many call an epidemic of loneliness among 16-24 year olds. Forbes states that 73% of Gen-Z report feeling lonely sometimes or always. However, DJI believes that the content of the screen can be focused on more than just the Internet, and that nature can still be shown. DJI invites the youth of Generation Z to go back to nature, bring their drones, and let the screen be a showcase of unique perspectives.

What can we do to help?
Exploring nature is a great remedy for anxiety. Research shows that being in nature reduces the stress hormone cortisol, improves physical and mental health, and regulates mood disorders. However, while Gen-Z is one of the most active generations in preserving green spaces, their connection to nature declines dramatically from the age of 11 and doesn’t recover until the age of 30. DJI chose to play to its brand strengths and use organised shoots to bring young people out into nature.
What will we do?
We will be gathering participants for drone operator training. After making sure everyone is ready to go, we will split into groups of about ten people and the leader will lead the group into the event site. During this time, the team leader will ensure the safety of the participants and be responsible for additional instruction on drone operation. At the end of the event, participants will be transported by bus back to the meeting place. Meanwhile, the online sharing platform is also open continuously. Participating in the sharing will give you a chance to win gifts from DJI!

What will you do?
No need to worry! All you need to do is choose your favourite activity and sign up, and follow the guidelines for when and where to meet. We recommend that you bring a jacket and cup of water, but otherwise we will provide all the equipment. Don’t forget to share your work online after the event, DJI looks forward to seeing you there!
