My friends and I have a lot in common, one of those things being we are all guilty of getting a little bit spend happy when it comes to the student loan times of year. For a short time we are living the high life, rocking our new shoes and buying rounds – for the table next to us too, but after three or so weeks we soon realise we are (obviously) living way beyond our means, and it therefor its time to cut back and apply for more shifts at work. One of the larger pockets of money that is quick to go is on clothes. As someone who loves to express themselves through clothes and fashion, it’s expensive to keep up with trends and constantly come out with new innovative outfits. Clothes swapping allows us to refresh and update our wardrobes by swapping what we no longer wear for what others no longer wear, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Not only is clothes swapping better for our wallets and much more accessible to many people than buying new clothes outright, but it is also better for our earth! The fashion industry produces around 10 percent of annual global carbon emissions, The less waste we produce, the kinder to the environment we are being, so why not swap your old clothes instead of throwing them away?! Luckily there are platforms in which we can do this… <\/p>\n\n\n\n
