How to get there (From central London):
1.Taking the subway 🚇 is the fastest & most convenient
Northern Line (black line) :
From city centre sites (e.g. Tottenham Court Road, Leicester Square, Charing Cross)
Take the Northern Line (towards Edgware) → Get off at Hampstead station
10-15 minutes walk from the station
Overground (orange line) :
Catch Overground from Euston, King’s Cross or Highbury & Islington
Get off at Hampstead Heath station
The station is directly connected to the park and can be accessed from the exit station
Taking the Bus 🚌 is suitable for enjoying the scenery along the way
Bus 24 (Direction: Pond Street/South End Green)
Bus 46 (Direction: Hampstead Heath)
Bus 168 (Direction: South End Green)
Recommended route:
Get off at South End Green, the park entrance is nearby
Take bus 24 from the city centre (Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road)
3.Go by bike (Santander Cycles or personal bike) 🚴♂️ for those who like outdoor sports
Santander Cycles are available for rent in the city centre
You can cycle along Regent’s Park or Primrose Hill to Hampstead Heath
4.Uber🚖 is the fastest but more expensive
Taxi from Central London (Black cab/Uber/Bolt)
About 20-30 minutes by car (depending on traffic)
Costs around £15-£30
5.Walk 🚶♂️ if you like long walks
If you’re starting from Camden Town or Primrose Hill, it’s about 30-40 minutes on foot
