Stories of Urban Adventure
The city of London was brought to a standstill on New Year’s Eve with hundreds of youths donning white t-shirts, caps, and shoes labelled GreenStride Cares in a green colour congregated on a road at Highgate Wood.
The day involved having the youths partake in different outdoor activities. Foremost, the youths were charged a small fee to cater for the branding of their t-shirts, caps, and shoes. GreenStride management took the event as part of their corporate social responsibility practices, which meant they also partially contributed towards the purchase of the gear to make the venture affordable and easy for many youths to join.

“The event is largely a success because we did not make extra effort in promoting it besides posting on our various social media platforms,”
Secondly, the youths had to experience life while connecting with nature at Highgate Wood, which is an ancient woodland. The park provides visitors with a wide range of activities they should partake. For this day, GreenStride organized for the youths to explore the woodland through self-guided walks and trails through the woodland.
Thirdly, the youths present in the event had an opportunity to share a meal provided by GreenStride, aimed at bringing the spirit of sharing and community to them.

At the end of the event, there was a common message from all the participants as they depicted their level of satisfaction.
