“Being outside has made me less anxious”
Since Lockdown, my screen time has been ridiculous. When I put into perspective that I was spending at least 7 hours a day on my phone, 7 days week – it was 49 hours weekly. That was the wake up call I needed. I was looking down at a screen all day rather looking at the world around me. And living in London there is so much to see!
Face Your Space inspired me to start getting outside along with teaching me the countless benefits of being in nature. Since I’ve implemented being in the outdoors into my routine, I have felt like a new person. I know that sounds dramatic, but I feel way more productive with my day. When I am outside I feel less anxious. Straight away it helps me clear my mind, I think because of the fresh air. If you ever feel overwhelmed, I recommend going for a 15 minute walk. What I find is that it makes you realise how much is going on in the world around you, and in some cases, how small your problems are.
There is so much going on in London, most of the time you’ll find there is a better activity awaiting you than being in your room on TikTok.
Face Your Space has really opened my mind and taught me how much there is to do in London.

My favourite things to do in London are:
- Get a coffee and walk around Hyde park and listen to a podcast – I currently love Best True Crime on Apple Podcast!
- Going to Sky Gardens and get a drink with friends
- Walking around Thames River at night – I am obsessed with the skyline.
