WHY WE CALLED “SKATEBIRDIE”?

“At first, I was thinking of a very profound name, like ‘Messenger of Skateboarding’ or something. But those names weren’t easy to remember, so I chose the name ‘skatebirdie.’ It’s easy to remember and rolls off the tongue. There’s nothing particularly special or significant about it; I just wanted to remind myself of my original intention. I hope everyone reading this can be proud of themselves, like a bird that knows how to skateboard.”

  3. Posture and balance: Be sure to understand the correct upper and lower board posture and balance skills. Stable sliding is really important. Having a stable basic posture can make it easier for you to master advanced skills. If the sliding is unstable, don’t jump Ollie when you come up!
  4. Start and stop: You don’t have to learn anything else, but you must learn how to get on and off the board.
