Film Night – Wild Film

Camping and watching a movie by the campfire can be a fun and memorable experience. Here are some things you might want to prepare for this activity:
-Tent or shelter: If you plan to camp overnight, make sure you have a tent or other shelter to protect you from the elements.
-Campfire supplies: You’ll need supplies for starting and maintaining a campfire, including firewood, kindling, matches, and fire starters.
-Seating: Bring comfortable seating, such as camping chairs, blankets, or pillows, to sit on while watching the movie.
-Projector and screen: To watch the movie, you’ll need a portable projector and screen. You can also use a white sheet or other flat surface as a makeshift screen.
-Power source: Make sure you have a reliable power source for the projector, such as a portable battery or generator.
-Movie selection: Choose a movie that’s appropriate for the audience and fits the outdoor setting. You might also want to bring a backup movie in case of technical difficulties.
-Snacks and drinks: Bring snacks and drinks to enjoy while watching the movie. You might want to choose non-perishable snacks that are easy to transport, such as popcorn, trail mix, or beef jerky.
-Flashlights or lanterns: Bring extra lighting in case it gets dark during the movie.
-Remember to follow all safety guidelines when starting and maintaining a campfire, and always practice Leave No Trace principles by packing out your trash and leaving the campsite better than you found it.

Our event idea
Activities: Imitate the Cannes Film Festival, set up a large projection screen on the beach or in the mountains, have an opening party, show a film prompted by alcohol, amplify the senses and experience the outdoors in a different way.
Difficulties: weather, electrical problems in the field, safety and copyright issues.
Costs: set up costs, copyright issues, transport and food and drink.
