Relax & Chill out during leisure time
Join us to enjoy the joy of the seaside
To begin with, this campaign will provide young people who are feeling lonely a moment to engage together, and suffered from being isolated during the period of lockdown. This will give them a chance to overcome their feelings of isolation and loneliness and find the balance of their inner heart. The sights of the beach offer individuals a dramatic backdrop against which they may have a chill chat, enjoy the blowing mild breeze, listen to the wash of waves on the beach, and huddle around bonfires at night, all of which help them feel more at ease and relieve themselves of stress and anxiety to a large extent. I believe this campaign will be a fantastic opportunity to not only develop a stronger relationship with the natural world but also can make some new friends from different cities and backgrounds.
A detailed systematic review, conducted by psychologists at the University of Bath and published in the British Journal of Clinical Psychology, suggests that depression and anxiety levels in the UK jumped markedly as a consequence of restrictions and isolation. Whereas the prevalence of diagnosed depression pre-pandemic was around 4% of the population, this rose to 32% following the lockdown (a jump of nearly 28%). Diagnosed cases of anxiety, which pre-pandemic were around 5%, increased to 31% (a jump of over 26%). This new psychology paper highlights the mental health impacts lockdown had on the young generation living in London.
Therefore, join us, to have a relaxing and chill trip with various topics and different activities each term by the seaside.
